Taylor Alcock (she/her)
Hi! I’m Taylor, and I’m so excited to be joining NWOCC. I am currently a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student and will be completing my practicum here. I am so grateful to work with and learn from this team and clients alike.
Life is busy, and when it becomes overwhelming, it can be challenging to prioritize yourself. Balancing multiple responsibilities, caring for others, or managing the constant pressures to keep up can come at the expense of your own wellbeing. Stress, burnout and self-doubt can become burdensome, leaving little time or space for rest and reflection.
Together, we can create meaningful shifts, helping you to reconnect with your sense of balance, confidence, and self-compassion. Throughout our journey, we will acknowledge daily stressors, identify priorities, and establish clear boundaries. Drawing from person-centered, cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused, and strengths-based approaches, we will identify practical tools for coping, support healthy relationships, and nurture your emotional wellbeing.
I provide a warm, collaborative, non-judgmental space where you can safely explore your experiences and needs. If you’re new to therapy, I welcome you. I understand that seeking support for the first time can be intimidating, but I hope that our first interaction can ease any apprehension you may have.
I look forward to connecting with you!
