Lisa Sauve (she/her)

Hello! I am Lisa Sauve, a Registered Social Worker and a single mother of four, now grown, children.  I recently returned to school to get a Masters in Social Work, and hope to one day get a doctorate. I have been privileged to work in many clinical settings over the last 25 years, allowing me to grow and expand personally and professionally through a lifetime of learning.

I love supporting families through child and youth counselling, couple counselling and parenting strategies, because that is the toughest job on earth (regardless of the family dynamic).  I am also trained and practiced in trauma counselling, helping people with PTSD, complex trauma and intergenerational trauma.  Also of note, I am familiar with alternative lifestyles and relationships.

My hope for you is that I can provide you with a safe space to work through your difficulties and meet your goals by expanding your knowledge to be your personal best.  Please reach out for a free 15-minute consultation call if you think we could do good work together.

My approach is laid back (not too business like), client centered, solution focused, and directive when needed.  I like to relate to my clients on a person-to-person level, not expert to client.  I believe you know yourself best and you have many of the answers already that you are seeking.  I am here to help draw them out of you.  And when you can’t quite find the answer I have tons of ideas and suggestions if you want them!

My areas of interest include ADHD, ASD, Anxiety, Depression, Children’s Mental Health, Trauma, and I often use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Brainspotting to support my clients’ needs.

If you feel we could be a good fit, please reach out today to schedule a free 15-minute consultation!
