Bailey McMahon (she/her)
Hi there, I’m Bailey! Watching your child struggle can be heartbreaking, confusing, and overwhelming all at once. It’s completely understandable to feel stretched thin or unsure what to try next, parenting isn’t supposed to feel this hard alone.
I work alongside children and caregivers, helping kids put their feelings into words (or play!) while supporting caregivers to feel confident, understood, and ready to take things one step at a time. Therapy with me is a team effort, you know your child best, and I provide experience, perspective, and a safe space to help things make more sense.
Children come to therapy for many reasons – after something really hard, like a big change, a loss, or experiences that were unsafe or upsetting, or because they’re struggling with anxiety, meltdowns, school, or relationships. Whatever brings you here, you’re not alone, and it makes sense to want support in helping your child feel better.
With younger children, therapy involves play, art, storytelling, or acting out tricky situations. Teens get a space to talk honestly about what’s happening in their world, while parents stay involved in ways that strengthen trust and connection. Every session brings creativity, curiosity, and usually a few laughs too!

Therapy can help children reconnect with what makes them feel like themselves, manage stress more easily, build confidence, and approach life with more ease, all while honoring who they are at their core.
While I primarily work with kids and families, I also have experience supporting adults and can help with short-term stress, life transitions or anxiety.
Starting therapy can feel a little nerve-wracking (totally normal!), but it’s also a hopeful step toward understanding, growth, and connection. If you want to see if we would be a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute conversation to ask questions and get a feel for how I work with kids and families!
