Maighyn DeGagne (she/her)
Hi, I’m Maighyn DeGagne, and I’m currently a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student. I’m thrilled to be completing my practicum here at NWOCC, where I have the opportunity to work alongside a wonderful team and support clients as a Student Therapist.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I understand how challenging it can be to navigate tough emotions, anxiety, or moments of feeling lost or stuck. You might be facing changes that feel out of your control, struggling with negative self-talk, or finding it difficult to set boundaries that help you maintain balance. Maybe you feel disconnected from your true self or are unsure of where to begin on your journey toward healing.
Whatever it may be, I’m here to remind you that healing and growth are possible. Therapy offers a safe space for self-reflection, learning new coping strategies, and developing the tools you need to create meaningful, positive change in your life. I believe in your ability to overcome struggles and build the confidence to move forward, even when things feel uncertain. Remember, it’s completely normal to face difficult moments, but you don’t have to go through them alone. I’m here to support you on your path to greater self-awareness and emotional well-being, helping you feel more in control of your life and emotions.
I look forward to being part of your journey!
