While psychotherapy services are not publicly funded through OHIP in Ontario, many extended health insurance plans include coverage for counselling or psychotherapy services.
We strongly recommend checking directly with your insurance provider to confirm:

NWOCC does not currently offer direct billing for private insurance plans.
Clients are responsible for submitting receipts to their insurance provider for reimbursement.
If you do not have insurance coverage, therapy receipts may still be eligible to claim as a medical expense during tax season.
