Hi, I'm Thrishala! I'm so glad you're here. My journey into psychotherapy has been shaped by a deep appreciation for people's stories and the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and understood.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, including Indigenous communities across Northwestern Ontario. Before becoming a therapist, I found connection through both science and music. My background in biomedical science taught me to appreciate the connection between the mind and body, while years as a performing and recording artist reminded me that the deepest connections often happen without words.
Every person who walks through my door brings a unique story, and that's something I never take for granted. My aim is to keep our sessions relaxed and collaborative. Wherever you are in your journey, we'll create a space where you can breathe and make sense of what's weighing on you. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches and rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor each session to what feels most helpful for you, because therapy should fit your life—not the other way around. Above all, I hope you'll find a space where you can simply be yourself. I'll meet you with curiosity, and compassion, and together we'll discover practical ways to help you move toward the life you want to live—one conversation at a time.
