Hello, Boozhoo, Taanishi! My name is Melissa Brady, and my role is to help adults throughout their healing journeys. Drawing from both my personal and professional journeys, I am dedicated to being a steady, compassionate supporter in your corner, who meets you where you are at and works to help you along your mental health path.

Working with me feels like a collaborative partnership where your unique experiences are validated and your specific pace is respected. You can expect a balance of compassionate listening to explore the 'big picture' of your life, alongside practical strategies to help shift unhelpful thought patterns. Ultimately, my goal is to help you feel empowered to grow without ever feeling judged.

My practice is rooted in a person-centered, holistic approach, viewing you as a complete individual rather than a collection of symptoms. As an Indigenous Metis-woman, I understand the importance of holistic healing and seeing the interconnectivity of all things. While I integrate practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help navigate thought patterns and behaviours, my priority is providing everyone with a safe, non-judgmental space. I believe deeply in meeting you exactly where you are in your journey. Whether you are seeking major change or gentle support, we will move at your pace to foster healing, growth, and authentic connection.

Areas of Practice:
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
